Friends of Crown House (FOCH)
The Friends of Crown House (Parent Teacher Association) provide an incredibly valuable link between pupils, staff, and parents, immersing families into the lives of the school. All parents are automatically members of the PTA, and the Committee is involved in organising a wide variety of events throughout the school year, for example:
- Charity Collections and Sales
- Children’s Christmas Parties and Reindeer Run
- Festive Extravaganza
- Make the Rules Day
- Book Swap
- School Disco
- Quiz nights
- Summer Fete
- Pre-Loved Uniform Sales
The Friends of Crown House aim to make fundraising fun, inspiring our pupils to develop a conscientious and community attitude, and we are so lucky to benefit from the annual fundraising. This money is put towards a wide range of projects to enhance school life, ensuring our pupils receive the most stimulating and exciting education possible.
“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of the parents” – Jane D Hull
Please contact the school office for more information about about how to make a contribution to the efforts of the Friends of Crown House.
"Leaders give priority to developing pupils’ self-awareness. This is constantly reinforced through reference to the school’s learning values and virtues as well as through a positive partnership with parents. Pupils’ self-esteem is reinforced through celebration assemblies, and the school actively tracks pupils’ rewards to ensure no-one is overlooked when celebrating achievements."
