The School Council

Each year, pupils have the opportunity to put themselves forward to join the School Council. Their role is to liaise with and represent every year group in the school, ensuring that all children have a clear voice. They meet regularly to discuss their thoughts, views and ideas and collate information from the Tapestry councils. Together, with staff and students across the school community, they work on projects to improve the experience for children at school and to leave a positive legacy behind them.

Growth Mindset Council

At Crown House, we believe that learning is something we do our whole lives. We’re encouraged to stay open-minded and curious, always asking questions and exploring new things. We know it’s up to us to work hard and make our future successful. By taking responsibility for our learning, we’re building skills that will help us achieve our dreams.

Digital Literacy Council

At Crown House, we learn how to use technology positively and responsibly. We understand how to find, create and share information safely, making sure we’re always respectful online. We’re taught to be careful about what we see and share in the digital world. Our aim is to contribute positively and make a difference with our digital skills.

Health and Wellbeing Council

At Crown House, we focus on staying healthy and strong, in both body and mind. We’re supported by a caring team that helps us find our passions and feel confident. When challenges come our way, we learn how to bounce back and stay positive. We know that taking care of ourselves helps us be our best every day.

Global Citizenship Council

At Crown House, we learn about the world and all the people in it. We explore different cultures and try to understand what life is like for others. Our goal is to become caring, thoughtful people who respect everyone. We want to make a positive impact on the world around us.

Creativity and Entrepreneurship Council

At Crown House, we’re encouraged to think creatively and come up with new ideas. We learn skills that help us think like inventors and entrepreneurs, making us ready for the future. We’re taught to be adaptable and resourceful, prepared to tackle any challenge. Our goal is to use our creativity to make the world a better place.

Sustainability Council

At Crown House, our Sustainability Council helps us all learn to care for the environment. We work hard to improve our school’s green spaces, growing fruits and vegetables for everyone to enjoy. We also conduct regular outdoor tidying activities to keep our school clean and welcoming. By finding creative ways to reduce waste, we will make a positive impact on our planet.
